Equine-assisted therapy is a form of experiential therapy where individuals interact with horses to promote emotional growth, build life skills, and support healing. Unlike traditional talk therapy, this method involves activities like grooming, leading, and riding, which naturally encourage self-reflection, trust-building, and connection.
Our sessions are designed for children, teens, and adults. We work with individuals managing:
Depression
PTSD
ADHD
Anxiety and stress
Grief and loss
Trauma
Physical injury recovery
Life transitions and emotional challenges
You don’t need any horse experience to benefit from our programs—just a willingness to grow and connect.
While both include time with a horse, riding lessons focus more on horsemanship and riding skills (with therapeutic benefits built in), while equine therapy sessions are specifically structured to support emotional well-being, often through groundwork and intentional interaction. Both approaches are centered around trust, safety, and the human-horse bond.
Yes! We offer supportive, structured sessions tailored for children with ADHD and other emotional, sensory, or behavioral needs. Our calm and attentive horses help children build focus, gain confidence, and improve emotional regulation.
All sessions are private and one-on-one to ensure every client receives personalized support, safety, and attention. We currently do not offer group sessions, but we may introduce small group options in the future.
That’s perfectly okay. Many of our clients are new to horses or have some initial fears. We move at your pace, starting with groundwork to help you feel safe and build confidence before progressing to riding.
